About Us

At HousecallsNY.org we strive to extend quality medical care into the home for those patients who have difficulty accessing office based medical care. We are a full service medical practice that provides regularly scheduled primary care visits to homebound/ bed bound patients living in the Bronx and Manhattan. Our house calls cover most non-emergency medical services.

HousecallsNY.org was founded by Dr. Avraham Henoch M.D., D.A.B.F.P., a board certified family practitioner in New York since 1986. Dr. Henoch currently runs two full service medical facilities in the Bronx and Manhattan. He is an attending or visiting physician at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital (Allen Pavilion), Montefiore Hospital, Bronx Lebanon Hospital, St. Lukes Hospital, Roosevelt Hospital and Beth Israel Hospital.

In addition to Dr. Henoch, the HousecallsNY.org team consists of certified and licensed medical personnel, office support staff and drivers. Team members, most of whom are bilingual, are trained to work with all other related service providers and can expertly handle all home care related documentation. The dedicated HousecallsNY.org team is committed to making every house call visit a simple, pleasant and productive experience for the patient.

HousecallsNY.org actively works with hospital discharge planners, visiting nurse services, government agencies, contracting agency case workers and primary caregivers to provide home-based medical care solutions. Our home care professionals are experienced at coordinating a patient´s medical care needs with all related healthcare providers. In the event of an emergency, our staff will arrange for immediate care, including transportation to the hospital and coordination with emergency services and in-hospital care, as well as follow up.
